Got into a “debate” last night about some of the classic flicks from the 80’s. I had to defend some of the greatest action sport dramas of my youth against the naysayers. Judge for yourself…

Almost time for the 5 day weekend. Much eating and drinking will be performed along with feats of strength and daring amazement. Well… maybe. I think LT will need to ask santa for a pair of black gunde boxers that don’t show the road moisture as much when they are on the outside.

I have no idea why but i just went and watched c-turd’s “what is cross” video. I need to be burned alive. Or have my eyes and ears scorched out with bleach. What a horrifically embarrassing thing to watch. I could only last until he stared singing his “go ride your bike” song…

Did some time in the pits this weekend for Big Al and LT at the RI Verge series wrap up. It was pretty fun. LT gets the bummer life award for the weekend with race crippling mechanicals on both days. Too much power and not enough quality product on the drivetrain. Some lessons to be learned from all of it? #1 Don’t buy miche product if you lay down crazy watts. #2 Don’t let LT wrench your bike.

Big Al needed the “B” bike as well after a nice dust up that left him with a big bloody knee hole. Ahh…racing. In other news, Tom Knox still kicks ass. Check this out. I have nothing else worthwhile to write. Except that chuck ate 7, I repeat, SEVEN lobsters at Nordic Lodge post race. Long live the gut of Chuck.

Dang. I stuffed it hard in the deep end of the bowl last night. New shoes and a not so good vibe made for a deadly combo. So long-story-short, frontside carve leads to front foot slipping off the board and me duffing my head and side in the flat. Ouch. Note to self, don’t go to the park on thursday nights because it’s roller blader night. Terrible. Didn’t even feel like skating because of all the rude ass foot wheelers. In other news, I’m a bonehead for thinking soft wheels were the way to go indoors. Slow as poo. Put the hard ones back on and they are way better. live and learn. Dumbass just needs to find out for himself. So there you have it, maybe someone will read this and learn from my jackassedness.

Soooo… not a lot to shoot the turd about. It’s thanksgiving tomorrow. The boys will be 5 soon after and Jennie and I still have no idea what is going on for their future as far as school goes. It’s been crazy stressful. One day I have an idea and everything seems bright, the next it seems like the world is out to screw me. So, what can you do. Drink a brew and watch Doug Smith rip it up. This is one of my favs. enjoy all and I’ll see you on the fat end of the holiday.
